How much vertical is between here and Heaven? One could say that we will soon have our answer. On Wednesday (01-24-2018) Warren Miller died at the age of 93.

Warren would probably say that Heaven, itself, was the vertical you were on here and now.

A the pioneer of ski film making, there is not a single ski film being produced today that hasn't been inspired by the films of Warren Miller. With the birth of "Warren Miller Entertainment" in 1949, Warren would create a feature length every year for nearly 60 years.

His eye for skiing and his iconic, unique narrations made his films near legendary throughout the world. He and his work, but film and writings, will be missed. But, no one ski bum will ever forget him.
