A Great Story!!!

Sometimes one comes across a great story that has to be shared.

We have all been new to winter sports. We all share some of the same experiences with learning how to ski or snowboard or any of the variations of the two sports. We can all share in some of the embarrassment and the physical pain that can come with learning.

In this article, the author, Eric Ian Chan, describes a day he had in Pyeongchang, Korea, which was also the location of the last winter Olympics. He describes a day of maybe being in an area he should not have been at his level and where a language barrier may have come into play.

I know we can all relate to those scenarios in one way or another. But I can say that I have never had my skis pulled by an instructor, nor have I ever seen it. That's what makes this story truly unique. That's also that part that makes this story truly enjoyable.

So, thank you to the author for getting past the embarrassment and telling this story to the world.

I Went Skiing and Was So Bad At It My Skis Got Confiscated | UNRESERVED

I was in awe looking up at a snow-covered hill in Pyeongchang, South Korea - the location of the last Winter Olympics. I shivered both from the cold and the anticipation of skiing for the first time. The slopes were packed with people zipping down the white incline in skis and snowboards, doing tricks as they went.
