Let's Do Another Chairlift Story

In sticking with a little theme we have going here, here is another story about a chairlift incident. We have talked about a kid falling off a chair in Utah and another lift having to be evacuated in Colorado. This time it is another evacuation.

This time from Whitefish Mountain  Resort in Montana, the East Rim/Chair 5 was shut down due to an issue with the bullwheel liner. The lift shut down early Saturday afternoon on what was a cold and nasty weather day at the mountain. Ski patrol and lift maintenance responded quickly and professionally and were able to get the passengers off the lift.

Being stuck on a chairlift is never fun, even if it's only for a little while with no reason for an evac. Always be kind to your local ski patrol, lifities, and lift maintenance. They are always there for you. For more information on this story, check out the article below.
