$15 Million Affordable Housing Plan From Aspen Skiing Co.
Anytime a corporation does something good for the community and for the employees, that's something to talk about. Today, we have a story just like that coming out of Aspen.
In an attempt to get ahead of needing more housing for employees, Aspen Skiing Co. has entered an application for a housing project in nearby Basalt, Co.
The project would include a complex of 36 units, totaling 148 bedrooms. The town of Basalt is already home to approximately 80 employees of the corporation. Aspen Skiing Co. hopes they can begin the project in 2019 and 2020.
If you would like more information on this project, the link below to the "The Aspen Times" has a more detailed look into the project.
