A Second Teen Death From A Lift

It seems that chairlift accidents are becoming a theme for this week. Earlier in the week an NJ teen died after falling from a chairlift at Blue Mountain, PA. This time a 15-year old girl has died in a similar event in Quebec.

Though it is likely these incidents will not continue, it is a good time to talk about lift safety. Always remember to keep your bar down. Never carry a backpack so pick that you are not completely on the seat. Never jump off the lift, which was part of the incident with the teenage girl in Quebec. If you ever have any questions, ask the liftie. They are almost always very friendly and will help you with any questions that you have.
