For The Vermont Locals - Vermont Sports Hall of Fame 2019 Inductees

The Vermont Sports Hall of Fame has announced inductees for 2019. As Vermont is known as an outdoor winter sports playground, it comes as no surprise that several of the names on this list come from skiing/snowboarding disciplines.

The biggest name to stick out on this list is Ross Powers, a southern VT local that won the first medal for the U.S. in snowboarding in 1998. He was also one of the first men to win Gold in 2002. He still resides in southern VT.
