Earlier this week we talked about two Vermont mountains there were offering free skiing to anyone who has been out of work due to the government shutdown.

This past Friday Mt. Hood Meadows in Oregon announced a similar offer.

The V.P. of Sales and Marketing, Dave Tragethon, has said "We would prefer that these dedicated employees were back at their jobs and getting our government working again. But in the interim, we would like to provide enrichment with a day on the mountain."

Another mountain making another generous offer, which I'm sure some will thank them for. If you are from and going to be in the area, head over to Mt. Hood Meadows to take advantage of this offer. For more information, head to the Mt. Hood Meadows website.

Oh, and if you do go up there and run into Eric Pollard or any of the Nimbus Independent crew, get me an autograph. Thanks!!!
