Learn To Ski And Snowboard Day
The month of January is the 11th annual "Learn To Ski And Snowboard Month". The fine people over at www.learntoskiandsnowboard.org have found a way to make the month a little more special.
On January 11th, ski mountains across 22 states are participating in a program to encourage more people to get out on the hills and learn how to ski. In fact, the program is looking to set a world record for the most beginner lessons given in one day.
I think this is more than enough reason to get out there and join those of us who already enjoy thrills and challenges of skiing and snowboarding. You know that you want to or you know a friend that has always wanted to. Remember, skiing and snowboarding only gets better with a bigger group.
If you would like to participate on the 11th, head to www.learntoskiandsnowboard.org for more information. They are also a great resource for ski and snowboard instruction information all winter long.
