Thomas Birch, Logan Allard, and Ryan Sharby were skiing at Sugarloaf this past Sunday, Jan. 27, when they decided to head out-of-bounds off the back of the mountain. The trio ended up lost and called 911 that afternoon for a rescue.
Local authorities were able to take snowmobiles into the area and find the three men. They were able to bring the men out with no injuries.
Upon their return the men took full responsibility for the situation. However, they have had skiing privileges suspended at the mountain.
