UPDATE -- Man Killed In Quandary Peak Avalanche Identified

This past Sunday a skier was killed on Quandary Peak. Local authorities have identified the man as 22-year-old Peter Jacob Wing of Denver.
The cause of death was determined to be accidental and was a result of blunt force injuries that he suffered during a fall.

Sad News From Colorado -- Man Killed On Quandary Peak -- R.I.P.
On Sunday morning a man was pronounced dead at the scene of a 13,400 ft. elevation rescue at Quandary Peak. The Summit County Rescue Group responded at about 11:20 on Sunday morning using a Flight For Life helicopter to reach the man. Though life saving techniques were used, they were unable to save the man's life.
