WATCH -- Australia Day Celebration -- Shorts And Bikini Skiing

In a tradition that is new to Ski Rex, Aussies were celebrating their national day by skiing in shorts and bikinis. Wait? Isn't it summer in their part of the world? Yes, you would be correct. This is why the day was taken in Canada.

 In the video, two tons of Aussies wearing outfits more suited to the beaches their country in known for ski and ride Silverstar Mountain Resort for the "Happy Australia Day" celebration. It's the traditional way for our friends from down under to get out of the heat and on to the hill.

 It looks like that had a ton of fun. They also seemed to have lucked out with the weather, with all that sunshine and mild temps on the hill. So, from the Silverstar Mountain Resort Facebook page, watch as the Aussies get it in their beach wear.
