For many years I have thought about what it would be like to have a mini ski area all my own. I saw this listing for Sharktooth Ski Area and my eyes went as wide as they could go. Could it be time for me to move Ski Rex HQ?

Well, the area might be a little bit out of my price range without an investor or without Ski Rex becoming the global phenomenon that I would like it to be. It is listed for $1.45 million currently. I can't lie though, that's not a bad deal for everything included.

The property ran as the lowest elevation ski hill in CO from 1972 to 1986. Currently, it is more like a ranch with two houses over 1,000 square feet and an outbuilding that was/is a maintenance shop. Top that off with RV hookups as part of the shop and one could have a hell of a home and weekend getaway joint.

Fact is, reading that listing got my head spinning with the potential this property could have. All I could picture was an honest a true Ski Rex HQ complete with my own mini area that I could use myself or have family, friends, and fans of Ski Rex ride with me. I'm very excited and I can't really drop the cash on it right now But, as Ski Rex grows, if this property is still on the market, I'll be all over it!!!
