Lost Skier At Lake Tahoe Found Dead

The local ski patrol, with the assistance of a search dog, found the body of Brett Herrick, 62, buried in deep snow about 100 feet from a trail.
Currently, it is believed that Herrick crashed into the deep powder snow and was not able to get out. This could have caused him to suffocate. An autopsy is scheduled to determine the actual cause of death.
