Not All Races Are World Cup -- The 2019 Great Outhouse Races At Ski Sapphire Valley

For those who are fans of competitive skiing, you might be familiar with most of the ski disciplines. However, there is a discipline in North Carolina that has yet to make it to the world stage, though I think it could be a welcome addition.

 On February 16, Ski Sapphire Valley is holding "The 2019 Great Outhouse Races at Sapphire Valley" which has become an annual event for the last thirteen years.

 This event is clearly for fun, but each year it also supports a local charity. The event starts at 11 A.M. this coming Saturday, February 16. Admission is free.
