An Avalanche Caused A Gas Leak Near Copper Mountain

It is being reported that an avalanche this morning has caused a natural gas pipeline to rupture, causing evacuations and road closures.

As reported by local news outlet Fox31, crews from Summit Fire & EMS are at the scene, as well as crews from Xcel Energy to contain and correct the issue.

 There have been no injuries reported due to this issue.
