Large Lift Evacuation Saturday At Showdown Montana

This past Saturday, March 30, a lift shutdown at Showdown Montana, which prompted a lift evacuation from the local ski patrol.

 There were 133 skiers on the chairlift at the central Montana ski area. A total of 87 were evacuated by the ski patrol over the course of 70 minutes.

 The remaining guests were unloaded after the chair was repaired. There were no injuries reported from this incident.
