Skiing Is a Great Workout -- WATCH -- "Why Skiing Is a Ridiculously Good Workout" from TIME

For all of us who have been ski enthusiasts, we have told people time and again that skiing is a hell of a workout. This is usually while we are dirty, sweaty, and breathing heavy after being out on the mountain all day. But, the question would be, is skiing really a good workout or does it just whip our asses?

It would seem that it really is a great workout and the proof of that is presented to us by the folks over at TIME. In a piece written on this subject, with accompanying video, Dr. Josef Niebauer, a professor at Paracelsus Medical University in Salzburg, Austria, tells us why skiing is a great workout.
