It was just over a week ago that Breckenridge Ski Resort announced they were going to be extending their season. They announced that they would stay open daily through Memorial Day and then go to a weekend schedule. This would put there last day on June 9, 2019.

It is now being reported that they are looking ahead to next season and, according to Summit Daily, have announced to the Breckenridge Town Council the opening and closing dates for the 2019/20 season.

As reported, chief operating officer, John Buhler, has said the mountain will open on November 8 and will run winter operations until May 25, or Memorial Day next year.

For those who are part of the town council and Breckenridge mountain operations, this is all just part of their usual planning. For the rest of us, it's a little something to get us pumped for next season, even though we aren't quite done with this one.
