Do You Miss The Snow And Want A Solution To That?

For this year, it could be an issue that easily solved. There is still plenty of snow out there in the U.S., one just has to make a trek to get to it, unless you happen to live in one of those areas.
Speaking of a trek, one could also make the journey to the southern hemisphere and experience winter all over again, but that just isn't in the cards for me right now. I'm sure some of you have that same thought.
So, I present the following article as a "sort of" solution to the issue of missing snow or getting impatient for the snowfall as next winter gets closer.
I Bought One of Those Snow Guns Ski Resorts Use and Here's What Happened
I sold my skis before I moved to North Carolina. That turned out to be a dumb move, because this subtropical state actually has the highest mountains on the East Coast, and it gets plenty cold from December through February. For a few months each winter, you can go skiing and snow tubing and sledding.
Now, I am sure we have all had the thought of buying or building our own snow guns. I know that I have. In the article, it looks like it works out pretty well, too. However, the reason this is a "sort of" solution is that it still has to be cold for this to work.
For some of you, it might still be cold enough to get yourself a little dusting. For a place like Ski Rex Media HQ, it has been too warm for this to be a viable solution. However, it does look like something that could be a lot of fun when it could be used. Like I said, it could be a great way to get a jump on next winter.
