Get Ready Aussie Brothers And Sisters -- Ski Season Starts Now!!!

Okay, let's see if we can get this right. If you are reading this in the United States, it is Thursday evening on the 30th. But, if you are reading this in Australia, then it is Friday morning, the 31st, and could be a very exciting time for you. Ski Season Starts Today!!!

With the Northern Hemisphere's never-ending winter of 2018/19 now heading down to the Southern Hemisphere, Perisher Ski Resort has picked up over 60cm (24 in) of early season snow. With that kind of snow falling, the mountain is able to open early. For all of the information you need, check out the link below or head to the Perisher social media pages.

Early Opening

Perisher is Australia's most popular snow holiday destination. Located in the picturesque Kosciuszko National Park in NSW, its four resort areas make it the Southern Hemisphere's largest alpine resort. Perisher's varied terrain is suitable for all ages and ability levels from first timer's right up to experts.

If just the news of an early season opening isn't enough to get you going, check out a live cam showing all of the wonderful new fallen snow at the mountain.
