Yesterday, May 18, at 9 in the morning the Jackson Hole Mountain Resort ariel tram, "Big Red", started running for the summer season.

"In just 12 minutes, the Aerial Tram glides skyward 4,139 vertical feet. The summit offers staggering 360-degree views of the Tetons, Jackson Hole valley and surrounding mountain ranges. The "Top of the World" provides amazing access to a plethora of great hiking and running trails, climbing, and the occasional snowball fight. Oh, and don't forget the world famous gourmet waffles in Corbet's Cabin."

For those looking to get in a little late season skiing at Jackson Hole, now would be the time. After the killer winter of 2018/19, there is still a little bit of snow for you at the top of the tram. If skiing isn't your thing, you can take in all the views or get some mileage on those hiking boots.

Pricing for rides is starting at $33 for an online purchased ticket, $40 at the window. Those prices will increase during the summer with all pricing information posted on the Jackson Hole website.
