If you happen to be in Gatlinburg, TN, either as a visitor or as a resident, it could be fun to check out something new at Gatlinburg Skylift Park.
Opening up on May 17 at 1 P.M. is the Gatlinburg Sky Bridge, which will be the longest pedestrian suspension bridge in North America.
With a span of 680 feet, and 140 feet high at the midpoint, you will be able to take in some sick views of the Great Smoky Mountains and the city of Gatlinburg below. To make some of those views just a tad bit more interesting, and maybe thrilling for some, there is a glass bottom at the highest point. A lot of people say one should never look down, but here it would be more than okay.
Gatlinburg Sky Park also has other attractions, including the Sky Lift, which all you skiers and riders will recognize as a triple chairlift. This would be the way up to those Great Smoky views and the Sky Bridge.
