Earlier today Ski Rex Media reported that Arapahoe Basin in Colorado would be open for skiing and riding on the 4th of July. It now looks like Utah is going to be in on the action as well.

It is confirmed that Snowbird Ski Resort will be open for Independence Day skiing from 8 AM to noon. That day also starts off with the annual all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast on the Plaza deck, also stating at 8 AM.

There are also two other points that Snowbird has in common with A-Basin this year. First, this will be the last day of winter operations, so if Snowbird is your local hill, this will be your last hoorah. Second, this marks the first time since 2011 that the mountain will be open on July 4.

Snowbird truly does have the Longest Season In Utah!
