Who Remembers That Lawsuit With Gwyneth Paltrow And Deer Valley Resort In Utah?

So, who remembers back in January when it was reported that actress Gwyneth Paltrow was being sued over an alleged hit and run ski accident? That lawsuit was also brought, in part, against Deer Valley Resort in Park City, Utah because of the involvement of a ski instructor that was with Paltrow at the time of the alleged skier collision.

 It would seem now that Deer Valley wants out of that lawsuit and the resort has a good reason. Attorneys for the resort say that they are protected from liabilities in skier collisions under a law that takes the dangers of skiing into account.

 However, an attorney for the alleged victim, Dr. Terry Sandserson, maintain that the resort is still responsible for the actions of their employees, in this case, the ski instructor that was accompanying Paltrow.

 At this time the decision has not been made as to whether or not the lawsuit against Deer Valley Resort. However, no matter the decision, the lawsuit against Paltrow will stand.
