A-Basin Closed For Winter Operations -- Next Up, The Mountain's First Pro Disc Golf Tournament

On the weekend of August 3 and 4, the mountain will be hosting the PDGA Arapahoe Basin Alpine Open. This event will host several different divisions including Pros, Pro Masters, Advanced, Intermediate, and Junior divisions.
Registration is going on now, starting at $25 for Junior and Intermediate players, $40 for the Advanced division, $50 for the Pro Masters, and $70 for the Pros.
As for prize payouts, the top 40% in the Pro and Pro Masters divisions will get a cash payout, with player packs and swag payouts going to the top 40% in all other divisions.
The check-in time for those registered to compete is from 7:30 AM - 8:30 AM at the Guest Service Building on Saturday, August 3. Then for both days, the schedule starts with the players meeting at the Mountain Goat Plaza at 8:30 AM, making their way over to the first hole of the day at 9 AM, and tournament play begins at 9:45 AM.
During the tournament, the disc golf course will be closed for public play on both days. The event will also be held rain or shine and this event is non-refundable. For all other information, head to the Arapahoe Basin website or check in on their social media pages.
