For My British Brothers And Sisters -- Tickets Are On Sale For The Telegraph Ski & Snowboard Festival In October 2019
For those of you who live in the U.K. or are looking to plan a trip to London, keep the dates of October 24-27, 2019 in mind to be there. Those are the dates for The Telegraph Ski & Snowboard Festival and tickets have just gone on sale.
The U.K.'s longest-running winter sports festival could be the perfect way to kick start another winter. Yes, it really is just a week before Halloween, but that's close enough to the end of fall to start getting out your gear and setting up for a winter of skiing/riding...if you put your gear away, that is.
The event will be in London's Battersea Park, which has been the current location since 2015. The event celebrates all that is awesome about skiing/riding, which goes beyond skiing/riding. From a blog post from The Telegraph;
"Bags full of entertainment lie ahead with some of our favourites features returning including, Mount Battersea our 50ft kicker where you can watch some Olympic athletes send it down the middle, the ice rink has had a growth spurt over the winter and will be returning alongside the curling lanes to bring that real winter vibe. The Food Village will see the return of more tasty dishes than you can imagine – perfect for those of us with eyes bigger than our bellies!"
Tickets, which are on sale now, range in price from £9-44 (approx. $11-55) depending on when they are purchased and who they are purchased for. A full events schedule can be found on The Telegraph Ski & Snowboard Festival website or by following the social media pages for the event.
If you need a little more encouragement to buy tickets, take a look at the highlight reel from last year's festival. It looks to be about a party and a half for all of those involved.
