Suspect Craig York
In an update of a story from during the week, Craig York, a man who was wanted on charges for several sexual crimes and believed to be on the Appalachian Trail has been found dead.

Reported by Ski Rex Media yesterday, York was last seen in the Fort Franklin parking lot along a part of the Appalachian Trail that cuts through Pennsylvania.

However, according to a report from Times News Online, York was found dead this past Sunday in an apparent suicide.

According to the same report, Carbon County Coroner Robert Miller and Nesquehoning Police Chief Sean Smith have both confirmed the dead man to be York and that he was found at the shooting in Nesquehoning, PA.

York, 35, was facing 15 charges that included rape, indecent exposure, and involuntary indecent assault of a person under the age of 16. He was expected to show in court on July 12, but failed to appear and had been on the move since that time. There was a bench warrant out for his arrest prior to the discovery of his suicide.
