Australia Is Covered In Powder!!!

Reports are coming in from parts of Australia that this current storm system is dropping feet of snow. Well, the reports are in metric, but you get the idea.

Some of the ski hills have taken to social media to show and celebrate just what they are getting down under, which is a wicked good winter so far, almost similar to this past season here in the Northern Hemisphere. Perisher Resort posted this video in honor of the wonderful powder days they're currently experiencing, having picked up 30cm (about a foot) this week, getting their natural depth to 125 cm (4 feet).

Now, reports from another Aussie ski hill seem to be even better. Though Thredbo Resort is giving a similar natural depth number, they have gotten it all at once. Over the last seven days, they have picked up nearly 100cm (3 feet), with close to 80cm of that in the last 24 hours. Watch and think about what it would take to make the trip down there.

It's looking good for the skiers and riders in or heading to Australia for a Southern Hemisphere winter. Enjoy!!!
