Cute Animals Doing Cute Things -- A Platypus Interrupts A Ski Day In Tasmania

Running into wildlife on a ski hill can be an awesome experience. For those of us here in the United States, it would be various, non-hibernating mammals and birds. However, on this ski run at Mount Field National Park in Tasmania, this time it was a platypus.

From the reaction of the crowd that got to witness this very cool, and very unique to the region, animal make its way across the run, it seems that seeing one in the snow does not happen all that often. Thankfully, someone had the idea to get it on video.

Also, did you see the one skier in the background wearing shorts? There always has to be one.
