So far this year Arapahoe Basin has made surprise pass announcements three times. The first was the break from the EPIC pass, which was followed up later with the announcement of joining the IKON pass. For the third, an announcement of a second pass option for the 2019/2020 season.

It was announced yesterday that Arapahoe Basin would be part of the Mountain Collective pass for this coming season, adding another mega pass option for those who are fans of the mountain. The news was announced in Al's Blog and there does seem to be some excitement from Al Henceroth.

"Today Arapahoe Basin joins the Mountain Collective. Some very exciting news for Arapahoe Basin Full Season Pass Holders is that they will receive lift tickets for 50% off window price at all Mountain Collective Resorts."

This option is a little different from the IKON pass, which offers limited dates that a pass holder can visit the mountain. The difference is more in the pricing structure. With the Mountain Collective pass, one can use two free days at A-Basin, as well as the other partner mountains around the U.S. and the world, and then get a 50% discount on day tickets for the rest of the season.

The Mountain Collective pass has partnered with 18 mountains in countries around the world, including the United States, Canada, Japan, Australia, and Argentina. Full details about the pass can be found at Mountain Collective website.
