Is It Sign Of The Winter To Come? -- Snow Fell In Montana This Past Weekend
In an event that could get almost any ski bum in the United States to start drooling, snow was falling in the high country of Montana at Glacier National Park during the overnight of August 16 into 17.
Though it wasn't all that much and it was sticking to elevations over 6,000 feet, it can be seen with the naked eye and was enough to be recorded. There was as much as one inch recorded by the National Weather Service in Missoula. There were even trace amounts seen on the very popular Going-To-The-Sun-Road.
Is this enough to get you to start thinking about this coming season if you haven't been thinking about it already, that is?
