Mountain Biker Near Miss With Bear Cubs -- VIDEO
Wildlife encounters have been in the news quite a bit lately, but this would be the season. During the summer and fall, people flock to all of the wonderful outdoor spaces around the world and that, of course, is where all of the animals are. Even for those who do practice wildlife safety and work to minimize contact with the animals, there are times that it just can't be avoided.
Luckily for the rider in this video, he was able to avoid actual, physical contact with the animals. One can watch the rider just minding his own business as he is moving down a trail, at a pretty good clip, by the way. But then, almost as if someone was running a red light at an intersection, a couple of little bear cubs go running by. The rider narrowly misses that last one to go through but does let them go without bothering the bears, which would be the right thing to do. Enjoy!
