This photo was taken from a highway camera on Highway 97 at Steamboat Hill this morning. But, the snow was starting to fly over the weekend.
In a time-lapse video that was put together by The Weather Network using images from DriveBC, you can watch the weather shift to winter and see heavy snow falling starting Saturday night and continuing into Sunday.
Forecasts for the region were calling for up to 30 cm (11.8 inches) before the storm blew over, which is supposed to happen through the day. However, there are some forecasts that say that, along with some rain along the northern coast, that snow could show up again during the week.
