It would seem that this past Sunday, August 18, at Perisher Resort in Australia was a bit of a slow day for the lifts. During the day there was a power outage that shut down all of the lifts and the mountain as a whole.

According to a report from Brinkwire, skiers and riders were stuck on the lifts for a few hours.

The reported cause of the power outage was a bird flying into the main electricity supply at the mountain.

Power has since been restored to the mountain and they have been open since without any other issues.
