After a skier death at Thredbo Resort in Australia, there comes the story of another incident involving a snowboarding father and daughter, but this time there is a happy ending.

A man and his 10-year-old daughter had become separated from their snowboarding group and got lost in the deep snow, according to a report from news.com.au.

The man was able to make a call for help but explained to those he spoke to that he and his daughter were in the deep snow without their snowboards and that his cellular phone was almost out of power.

During the search, which began almost two hours after that initial call for help, emergency services were able to locate the pair, who were approximately 700 meters (2300 ft) down a slope with difficult terrain. The location of the father and daughter delayed the rescue as it was difficult to reach them.

At last report, the pair were not only found but found without injury and all seems to be well.
