A Gadget For Those That Ski Or Ride With Music -- Chubby Buttons

There are more than a few skiers and riders, as well as those who participate in other action sports, that like to listen to music during these activities. If you're one of those people that like to have your own personal soundtrack with you, this is a gadget that might be right up your alley.

 In the picture to left, you can see the little gadget to the left of the phone. It's called Chubby Buttons and it's a Bluetooth capable remote that is designed for those sports where hands are typically covered.

As you can see, the button are quite large and meant to be worn around the wrist, allowing for one to keep their hands in their gloves when trying to change tracks on a cold ski slope. It's also water-resistant and built to take a little bit of punishment, so you don't have to worry about a cracking screen or it breaking in other ways.


Even if a person isn't into action and outdoor sports, the website does have suggestions for use in the home or in the car. It can be stuck to a wall or other flat surface, making it quite versatile, which can come in handy in a variety of situations.

Currently, it's listed on Amazon for $39.99, which isn't too bad for a functional gadget. If you are tired of fumbling with tiny, wired remotes for your phone or media player or if you aren't a fan of that little bit of frostbite one can get from pulling their gloves off a bunch during the day, this might be something for you to look into.
