Another Report Of September Snow, This Time In Southern Nevada

With just five days left in the month of September, the reports of early snow are still showing up from all over the U.S. This time it isn't that much, but even a trace or a dusting is enough to get the ski bum's mouths watering.

We have here a post from Lee Canyon, a ski area that is just spitting distance away from the wonderful city of Las Vegas, Nevada. Though most people know Las Vegas as a city for entertainment, gambling, and sin, circling that city are some pretty big mountains, some of which got a dusting of snow over the last few days.

If you've never thought of it, Las Vegas isn't a bad place to be a jump-off point for a ski trip. Lee Canyon is only 45 minutes away from the Strip, not to mention other high mountain destinations in Utah and Arizona only a few hours away. Ski trips and Las Vegas are good times on their own, but combining the two could make for one sick getaway.
