Lindsey Vonn Is Getting A Lift Named After Her
A rope-tow at Buck Hill ski area in Burnsville, MN is getting renamed in honor of a local and skiing superstar, Lindsey Vonn.
It was on social media that Buck Hill announced that they would be giving Vonn this honor.

Vonn is a native to Burnsville and grew up skiing at Buck Hill, though at that time she was Lindsey Kildow. The lift will in honor of that young girl who would grow up to be a legend by being renamed "Kildow's Climb".
“All of us at Buck Hill are very happy and excited to honor Lindsey by renaming our lift on the race training hill in her name,” said Dave Solner, owner of Buck Hill.
Buck Hill will be holding a dedication ceremony for the renaming of the lift this coming Monday, September 23. Along with the dedication, Burnsville's Mayor, City Council, and Chamber of Commerce will be on hand to present a city proclamation, as well.
