More Snow In The West -- Utah Gets First Snow Of The Year

Credit: UDOT
The image to the left is very much real, showing snow along Bald Mountain Pass on state route 150 in Utah.

This marks the first snow for the 2019/2020 winter season in Utah and it has shown up before the official end of summer.

This snow comes from a storm system that has been bringing snow and rain to the region over the last few days. It is the same storm responsible for some of the first snows in Montana and is expected to drop snow in Wyoming and Colorado, as well.

The snow has been sticking to the higher elevations of 8,000 feet and above. However, there are weather warnings from all over the region. Please check your local weather provider and the National Weather Service for more information about your region and remember to stay safe if your area is experiencing this very early winter weather.
