A Snowboarding Woman Seems To Not Notice The Bear Chasing Her -- VIDEO

I've been asked why I choose to not wear earphones or headphones while skiing. It's mostly because I want to experience as much of nature as I can while I am out on the hill. However, there is a safety element to that as well. I want to make sure I can hear everything going on around me. Here is an example of why that is a good thing.


You're right, the video is sideways, but the point still stands. This snowboarder was having a good time by herself, just enjoying the ride and her music, and behind her was a bear. It's hard to tell what kind of bear it was, but it was a bear nonetheless.

 Enjoy your riding soundtrack, but try to take a look uphill when you can.
