Another Early Opening Mountain -- Lake Louise, Canada Opens Tomorrow

As the winter of 2019/2020 continues to get off to a good start, it almost feels like it's going to be known as the winter mountains were able to open earlier than ever. Lake Louise Ski Resort is going to be among those that can make the claim as they open tomorrow.

The Canadian Rockies have been seeing a fair share of cold temperatures just right for snowmaking and early natural snow, so Lake Louise is taking advantage of it by opening a week early on November 1st, which also marks one of the earliest openings in the mountain's history.

To get fans of the Alberta ski hill into the early season, the mountain will be offering 50% off lift tickets on opening day, with Lake Louise Plus Card holders getting an additional $5 off.

The chair that will be turning at 9 A.M. will be the Glacier Express Chair. That will give skiers and riders access to the Wiwaxy, Bald Eagle, and Easy Street trails. The Learning Area will also be open with one Sunny Carpet lift for the beginners.

Any more information that you might need to get in on opening day will be at the Lake Louise Ski Resort website and on the mountain's social media pages.
