I've Never Seen This At A Ski Hill -- An Airplane On A Liftline

This photo is 100% real. The photo comes from the National Alpine and Speleological Rescue Corps (CNSAS), the agency that performed the rescue of the plane and passengers in Northern Italy.

Reported by CNSAS via social media, the ultralight aircraft collided with a chairlift at Prato Valentino, in the municipality of Teglio.

The pilot, though ejected from the aircraft during the crash, survived and was taken to a local hospital for treatment. The passenger also survived but was stuck in the upside-down plane until rescuers were able to perform what must have been the most unique lift-evac in history.
