Ski Hills In Korea Are Also Getting Into The November Openings

As the November of early openings continues here in the United States, it would seem that Korea is also getting in on the action with more than a few mountains opening up just before December.

For those who are locals to the country of Korea, or looking for somewhere a little different for a skiing or snowboarding trip, there are already a few mountains open for one to explore.

Since November 15, Yongpyong Ski Resort and Phoenix Pyeongchang Snow Park have been turning lifts. These mark the first resorts to open in the country for the 2019/2020 ski and snowboard season.

There are two more hills that plan on opening for the last weekend in November. If you are a fan of or local or visitor to Bears Town Ski Resort and Oak Valley Snow Park, then your mountains will be ready to invite you onto the lifts on November 28.

Beyond that, other resorts, including Yangji Pine Resort Ski Valley and Eden Valley Ski Resort, are looking to open as soon as they can in December.

Just like the mountains here in the United States, all of these mountains are opening with early-season conditions and limited open trails. If you are planning to be at any one of these hills, make sure you check each of their websites for the daily snow and condition reports.
