Since November 15, Yongpyong Ski Resort and Phoenix Pyeongchang Snow Park have been turning lifts. These mark the first resorts to open in the country for the 2019/2020 ski and snowboard season.

There are two more hills that plan on opening for the last weekend in November. If you are a fan of or local or visitor to Bears Town Ski Resort and Oak Valley Snow Park, then your mountains will be ready to invite you onto the lifts on November 28.

Beyond that, other resorts, including Yangji Pine Resort Ski Valley and Eden Valley Ski Resort, are looking to open as soon as they can in December.
