I've Never Seen This At A Ski Hill - A Backpack Lunch That Consists Of Spaghetti

I know that skiing and snowboarding can get kind of pricey no matter where you go, so it's never a shock to see someone on the mountain that has packed their own lunch. It's actually a time-honored tradition...sort of. There have been stories written about it, including tips on what to bring and tricks on how to bring it. Now, I've witnessed the age-old staples of PB&J and Ham sandwiches, using survival foods and MREs, and just granola and protein bars. But, I can say with some certainty, that I have never seen a lunch like this one come out of someone's backpack on a ski hill.

If you haven't been able to figure it out, that man is eating spaghetti out of a bag. This photo was sent into Ski Rex Media from friend/fan, Patrick Hutton, who was out riding at Keystone, Colorado today. As you can see, homeboy was just sitting a couple of chairs away and pulled out that bag of, what I hope anyway, was saucy goodness.

Now, once again, I can see the want to do something like this. It's always cheaper, and in some cases easier to bring your own lunch when skiing or snowboarding. But, is this guy a genius or did he take it too far? For me, I'm a food safety nut, so anything I pack will be 100% non-perishable. That's just me. But then again, spaghetti is friggin' delicious and could go down pretty well, even if it is a little cold. I'm not really sure where to stand on this one, but more power to my man for getting it done and I hope he enjoyed it.
