I've Never Seen This At A Ski Hill -- A Scooby-Doo Snowcat

Like anyone who has participated in snow sports, I've seen a lot of different snowcat and groomer configurations over the years. I've even been for rides in the cab or on the rear of groomers built by PistenBully and Bombardier. Though I have seen a few custom rigs and thought about how cool it would be to have one of my own, which I will one day, I've never seen one like this on any ski hill.

This one in particular, as you can see, is done up to look just the like The Mystery Machine, the van that transported Saturday morning cartoons favorite Scooby-Doo and his friends on their adventures. It's owned and operated by Mike McGowen, owner of Condit Exhibits in Denver, CO, which also did the vinyl work to make this tracked rig a spitting image of its animated counterpart. In this report from 9 News, we get a little back story on this snowcat that can be seen out in the backcountry around Summit County.
