Knowing The Gettysburg Address Can Get You A Ticket At Mountain Creek, New Jersey
As we approach the Presidents' Day and the Presidents' Week holiday time, we as skiers and snowboarders take advantage of the time off from work or school and hit the slopes. Yes, the winter holidays are truly wonderful. Also wonderful, knowing a little bit of presidential history can score you a free day ticket at Mountain Creek in Northern New Jersey.
Part of this holiday comes from President Abraham Lincoln's birthday being February 12th. On that same day, to celebrate Honest Abe's birthday, you can head out to Mountain Creek, recite Lincoln's Gettysburg Address, and you'll win a free day ticket.
Now, this is not an easy task, even for those who have heard it many times and have visited the town of Gettysburg more than once. In fact, there is a common misquoting of the first line. So, Mountain Creek is watching out for anyone who might want to try to cheat this one.
