I've Never Seen This On A Ski Hill -- Hanging From A Rope Tow? -- VIDEO
I've openly admitted having my issues with a specific type of surface lift. I have also witnessed issues other people have had with just about every type of lift that has ever been built. I can say with 100% certainty that I have never seen someone have an issue like this on this particular type of surface lift.
Now, unless I'm mistaken, that is a person who has their bindings caught on the rope of a surface lift. I would never have imagined such a thing were possible, which I'm sure the lifties would agree with. Shoot, I would go as far as to say that's not even in the manufacturer's warnings. In any case, it was lucky that the rider had the wherewithal to grab the emergency stop. That could have been ugly once they got to the bullwheel.
