You know that I wouldn't lie to you. So, I'll say that this is not a movie that I suggest very often. When I do, I tell folks that it's worth one watch and that's about it. I don't know, there is just something about it that doesn't sit right with me. I guess I'm just not that big a fan of the movie. Though, it could be that, even with an imagination like mine, this one is just too farfetched. On the plus side, though, it does star Shawn Ashmore, whom you might remember as playing Iceman in several of the X-Men live-action movies. So, it's got some Nerd credibility. Beyond that, maybe not the most well-made film in the world.
But, though the main characters could use a superhero like Bobby Drake, they don't get one. You see, in this film, three young people sneak on to the chair after the liftie marks the last chair. The lift shuts down for the night and those young people are trapped high above the slope with no help in sight. What are they going to do? Well, I won't spoil it. You'll have to check out this thriller on your own.
If you don't mind streaming a film with some ads and want to get into a genre a lot of ski films don't get into, then why not give it a go on your movie night? Like I said, it wasn't bad to watch once, and if you're like me, you won't have a want to go back to it again. Then again, now that I am writing about it, maybe I will go back to this one for a movie night.
