A New Snowboarding Video Game Heading to Xbox Series X in 2021

For those that like to keep the spirit of snow sports alive in the offseason by heading into the virtual world, you're going to have a brand new snowboarding video game to try after this coming season.

Shredders, which is going to make its debut on the Xbox Series X in 2021 is being developed by I-Illusions and LetitRoll and is being hailed as a snowboarding game for riders, by riders.

Those who have been working closely on this new game have called themselves fans of the early Amped snowboarding games. For this game, the dev team wants to pay homage to those older games by incorporating a similar balance in simulation and fun with fine controls and still be easy to learn, though built for modern gaming technology and physics.

“We are building a snowboarding experience that allows you to define your own style”, says project lead Dirk Van Welden. “Outside there are so many incredible ways to do a simple 180 and Shredders gives you that level of control. Carving, buttering, and the sensation of floating on fresh powder all feels amazing.”

An in-game screenshot of the world the player will explore.

So far, the teaser and screenshots look very nice. As for the gameplay, we'll all have to wait to see how it feels once we can get our hands on it. However, as stated in the news release for the game, "All of the Shredders team are passionate snowboarders or skiers. We can’t wait to share Shredders with you." If they love it in real life, then they are certainly going to make sure this game is worth the playtime.

  2. so lab guests had something entertaining to do during their look out for "guests day" (finally!... a video game that was made "only for fun"...) . The game was truly intended for its period: the ball conduct was altered by a few variables like gravity, wind speed, position and point of contact, and so on; you needed to stay away from the net as in genuine tennis, and numerous different things. minecraft servers
