For those that like to ski and ride the northernmost part of New England, two of the big dogs for Maine resorts are offering a new set of pass products for the pre-season, but only for a limited time.
Sunday River and Sugarloaf, part of the Boyne Resorts owned mountains, are announcing the release of the Maine Pass, a set of pass products that can get you unlimited riding at two of Maine's most popular destinations while minimizing the worry of how COVID-19 will affect the season, plus a list of other benefits.
There are several levels of the Maine Pass that are going to be available starting at $279. Those varying levels are:
- Gold Maine Pass - Unlimited skiing and riding at both Sunday River and Sugarloaf, an optional First-Tracks add-on, 10 friend tickets at 25% off, 15% off retail & lodging, 20% off $100 dining cards (limit 10 per pass holder), 3-days at Boyne Western Resorts (does not include Loon), and 50% off lift tickets at all Mountain Collective Resorts - $1,399
- Silver Maine Pass - Skiing and riding at both Sunday River and Sugarloaf with just 12 blackout dates, 15% off lodging, 8 friend tickets at 25% off, 10% off retail, 20% off $100 dining cards (limit 10 per pass holder) - $899
- Bronze Maine Pass - Midweek access to both Sunday River and Sugarloaf, 4 friend tickets at 25% off, 15% lodging, 10% off retail, 20% off $100 dining cards (limit 10 per pass holder) - $649
- College Gold Maine Pass - Unlimited access to both Sunday River and Sugarloaf, 6 friend tickets at 25% off, 15% off retail and lodging, 20% off $100 dining cards (limit 10 per pass holder) - $449
- College Silver Maine Pass - Skiing and riding at both Sunday River and Sugarloaf, 15% off lodging, 10% off retail, 20% off $100 dining cards (limit 10 per pass holder) - $299
- Maine Student Pass - Available to Maine students only, Unlimited access to both Sunday River and Sugarloaf - $549
- Maine 4-Day Limited - A new product valid for both that 20/21 & 21/22 seasons, 4 days combined at Sugarloaf and Sunday River, 12 blackout dates - $279
- Maine 4-Day Unlimited - Another two season pass product, 4 days combined at Sunday River and Sugarloaf, No blackout days
All of these pass products include the Worry-Free Winter Assurance program, which promises 150 days of skiing and riding at Sunday River and Sugarloaf, plus the option to roll over the value of your pass to the following season.

The Maine Pass goes on sale this coming Tuesday, September 1st, but will only be available until October 12th.
